In May, the journal interviewed Dr. William G. Kaelin, a recipient of the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine and a current professor of medicine at Dana Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Kaelin and his colleagues were recognized for researching how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability. Dr. Kaelin's work has great impact on the fields of cancer medicine.


In this interview, Param asks Dr. Kaelin about the implications of his research and the inspirations behind his work.
